Revolutions take time to gain momentum, and do not always move forwards as urgently as we would like.Venus in Aquarius conjunct Saturn (24 deg) Best to focus on what we can control right now, than fume with futility at what we as yet cannot. It may even be that Mercury and Uranus offer us great insights into changes we wish to make, but which the current demands of our life make it difficult for us to actually put into play at the present time. Mars trining Pluto in particular can make the smallest of things symbols of an agitation that send us into a glowing rage, inclined to argue, squabble, fight, brood, or issue ultimatums over petty things we would normally be more equable about. These planets can add to a sense of agitation, frustration, restlessness and impatience with our current problems, that may cause us to erratically throw ourselves into anything that promises liberation one moment, and then procrastinate and withdraw from all our struggles the next. Such things as: a new job or source of income a new place to live a change to one’s diet, routine, exercise, regime, finances, cleanliness, or lifestyle meeting new people who challenge our thinking in some crucial way or an alteration in the fengshui, layout, or decoration of our home, etc.Īs Mars is in conjunction to Uranus, and there are tense oppositions to both Saturn and Pluto, everything is unlikely to be wine and roses. He excites and enlightens the brain, offering us flashes of insight that may be unavailable to us when times are more grounded.Īs this trine is between two earth signs – Virgo and Taurus – these insights and changes will most likely relate to earthly things (though checking which houses these planets fall between in your natal chart will offer you greater specificity). Uranus is also The Awakener – The Thunderer who offers a brief flash of total clarity in our darkened world. If the news that we received during the square knocked us off our feet, important messages we have during the trine may actually provide us with a breakthrough as to how we could solve, or progress beyond, some of the material conundrums we are now facing. This can make for exciting conversations with people, where a chance encounter with a stranger, new friend, partner, book, or documentary exposes us to a new idea, that unlocks something dormant within our minds, opening up a new direction of intellectual pursuit. Mercury, The Thinker, is encouraged to think outside of the box – to brainstorm and explore options that, in more sedate times, he would probably not consider, or reject out of hand. Here, we have come to terms with the need to radically alter our normal lives in some way, and are more receptive to ideas, possibilities, and options that deviate from our existing conventions. In the trine to Mercury, the willingness to ride the lightning is more forthcoming. Uranus demands that redirection, whether we consent to it or not. Prompted by tumultuous external events, that on a conscious level we probably would not have chosen, even if we grudgingly recognise that there were some parts of our current lives that were not sustainable, and in dire need of redirection. In squares such as these, the call to make a change, or move on in someway with our lives usually comes unbidden. Perhaps you even had an accident, health crisis, or technological malfunction that obstructed your accustomed rhythms in an unignorable way. A threat to your job security, home life, finances, or partnerships made you feel uneasy, unstable, and in search of new circumstances to bring you back into balance. During this time, some of you may have received news that sent you into shock that made the ordinary routine circumstances of your life feel under attack. In the final weeks of July, Mercury was already in square with this unruly planet. His aim is to interrupt the normal flow of events, providing us with a stimulus that forces us to break away from our usual modes of functioning, and embrace overdue change. Shocking, devastating, terrifying, but also exciting, inspiring, and electrifying. The influence of Uranus upon another planet can be like the unexpected appearance of a thunderbolt.
